Provide technical support for the Windows server systems. The contractor shall support these system administration requirements in a multi-platform environment:
a.) Provide technical support of these Windows Operating environments: system administration, performance tuning, Veritas backup solutions, raid implementation using fiber channel storage mediums and support of SANs. Provide technical support in setup and ad- ministration of enterprise scale Windows networks.
b.) Provide technical support with optimizing 32 bit and 64 bit applications. Provide support in using these Windows domain tools: Active Directory Users and Computers, Active Directory Services, Server Manager, Domain Group Policy Management, DNS Server, and Domain Replication. Provide system administration technical support with these Mi- crosoft server technologies: SQL server, IIS, application server, file services, Windows clustering, or Windows server update services. Provide support with these thin client technologies: Windows remote desktop or Citrix XenApp. Contractor shall be familiar with DoD system security requirements, C2 security implementation and Windows STIG requirements.
c.) Provide consulting support in project management work with defense information systems. Provide consulting support of project timelines, budgets, and Government reporting. Provide technical support of networking infrastructure principles and practices.
d.) Provide technical support with these web technologies: Tomcat, Apache web server or Microsoft IIS.
e.) Provide technical support with these multiple hardware architectures: X86 and X64. Provide technical support with troubleshooting hardware failures and systems incompatibilities on these platforms: HP, Dell or other vendor X86/X64 server platforms and stor- age systems.
f.) Provide technical support with analysis creation and implementation of security policies and the use of Microsoft Security Configuration and Analysis. Provide consulting sup- port with group policy and the effect of security through the use of group policies. Pro- vide technical support in using NSA guidelines to secure the Windows environment.
g.) Provide technical support with Government systems, policies and procedures and Government workflow processes, with system administration on a cross platform network.
h.) Provide technical support in automated tape libraries, disk farms, SANS and VMWare/ESXHost. The contractor shall support Client Architectures to include the fol- lowing software: Office 2010 suite, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Remote Desktop.
i.) Provide guidance to the utilization of the Windows OS in the architecture of the DECC Ogden systems.
j.) Provide technical support on all Windows applications, system analyst support and appli- cation installation, and configuration. This includes access to SIPRNet and JWICS.
k.) Build new servers, migrations of applications from development to production, trouble- shooting and diagnostics of applications, system and vendor software monitoring and tun- ing client, web applications, software and hardware upgrades installations and mainte- nance. Use provided tools including BMC BladeLogic, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator
(ePO), Windows Update and SCCM, to update, patch, manage, and maintain Server OS and all associated software.
