DDC-ITS is 100% owned by the Navajo Nation and has been in business since 2011. Our focus is on the ever-changing world of Cyber Security with respect to staffing for building and securing networks and enterprise applications. Responsibilities

DDC IT Services is actively seeking a Windows System Administrator with a TOP SECRET clearance for the following responsibilities and duties:

  • Ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of systems administration services. 
  • Apply the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) guidelines to the Windows operating systems.
  • Develop procedures for responding to new threats to systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Check files for problems and reviews operations to ensure only valid processes are running.
  • Perform system administration tasks for the Windows Active Directory Domain and multiple Windows Servers..
  • Administer users, groups, Organizational Units (OUs) on the Active Directory Domains.
  • Manage the installation of software and hardware fixes, updates, and enhancements.
  • Install, configure and test software.
  • Control the current versions and future releases of application software and documents the physical configuration of information systems.
  • Optimize the functionality of networks and systems and diagnoses and recovers failed systems.
  • Support the development and implementation of systems diagnostic and maintenance tools to ensure the availability and functionality of systems required in support of organizational objectives through the following actions:
  • Develop standards and criteria for accessing server performance, availability, capacity, or configuration problems.
  • Develop procedures for responding to new threats to systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Check servers for problems and review operating system to ensure  that the system is running within normal expectation IAW the SLA.

Qualifications:Top Secret Clearance Required

 

Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate or 5 years of Windows experience.
  • Security+CE certification required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred
