DDC-ITS is 100% owned by the Navajo Nation and has been in business since 2011. Our focus is on the ever-changing world of Cyber Security with respect to staffing for building and securing networks and enterprise applications. Another focus is to provide businesses with the Hardware & Software to meet their needs. We both sell and implement complete business solutions.

Responsibilities

DDC IT Services is currently sourcing for a Network Engineer with an active TOP SECRET security clearance.

 

Job Description: Under general supervision, valuates, designs, documents, installs, implements, tests, performs problem isolation and resolution. Monitors, tunes, and sets standards and maintain a range of computer network components and systems.  Performs these functions across most of the network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, security devices, DNS servers, email gateways, telecommunications transport facilities along with related software and hardware, and network management systems and components.

Qualifications

Desired Qualifications:

 

  • Technical Certifications such as JNCIA, CCNA and CCNP preferred.
  • Experience with the design and implementation of networks.
  • Planning, designing, developing, and implementing networks.
  • Installing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Ensuring the stability and integrity of network services.
  • Analyzing and resolving network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end- user training where required
  • Document network problems and resolution for future reference
  • Monitor system performance and implements performance tuning
  • Ability to work within a team environment with a solid work ethic.

 

Must possess one of the following certifications for IAT III compliance:

 

  • GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED)
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)

 

Clearance Requirements: Top Secret

Education Requirements

Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related experience is required.
Experience Requirements: 4-8 years’ experience
